Waterford-Halfmoon UFSD has formed a district-wide committee that is responsible for a number of curriculum-related issues. Officially named the Curriculum Cabinet, this committee is comprised of Faculty representing all areas from Kindergarten through 12th Grade, Administrators from both the Elementary and Jr./Sr. High Schools, as well as a current member of the Board of Education. Responsibilities of the Cabinet include, but are not limited to:
Student Achievement
Oversight of the New Course Proposal Process
Maintaining a current Textbook Inventory
Oversight of the Summer Curriculum Writing Process
The Curriculum Cabinet convenes on a monthly basis to meet these responsibilities, as well as other issues related to curriculum in the district.
